Invitation
Join us for the upcoming joint conference, a collaborative platform dedicated to addressing the dynamic challenges facing agri-food systems, particularly in Central and South-East Europe. Our sessions will focus on a range of topics including the impacts of climate change on agriculture, the role of fair partnerships within food supply chains, and policy-driven approaches to building resilience. With shifting fiscal conditions and an increasing push for sustainable practices, it is more important than ever to find actionable solutions that can support agricultural producers, strengthen value chains, and meet societal expectations.
We warmly invite you to participate through oral communications, poster presentations, showcasing your institution or company, or simply joining us as a valued participant as this conference aims to foster dialogue and collaboration among researchers, policymakers, and practitioners.
Venue
The conference will be held at the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek, located in the vibrant city of Osijek, Croatia. Situated in the heart of Slavonia, Osijek is known for its rich cultural heritage, historic architecture, and scenic views along the Drava River. The city offers a blend of tradition and modernity, featuring attractions such as the picturesque old town, Tvrđa, a well-preserved 18th-century fortress with baroque buildings, museums, and lively cafés. As a leading institution in agricultural research and innovation, the Faculty provides an inspiring setting for discussing challenges in the agri-food sector.
Also, join us for an exciting excursion to Agrocomplex Belje in Baranja, where you’ll explore innovative agricultural practices and enjoy a unique experience.
The Conference will be organised as a mix of plenary sessions, and parallel sessions with selected paper and poster presentations, as well as workshop sessions with experts, policy makers and agribusiness actors.
